L'univers de Tawnie es très original et pourrait dérouter les cartésiens francophones que vous êtes! (pass'que moi j'le suis pas!) Un melting-pot de style alternative groovy enfantin, une ambiance doux-dingue, bon enfant et vintage. Aussi pétillant qu'un bonbon acidulé, ou encore quand Jet Set Radio rencontre FLCL !!! J'imagine bien du Guitar Vader en fond sonore pour accompagner le tout! Pour le dessin proprement parler, j'avoue que j'ai échoué. Après avoir coloré ses cheveux, il m'a semblé bon d'y mettre du rouge et du vert clair, ça donnait un côté fruité et acidulé. L'ennui est que l'ensemble transpire le culcul-la-praline qui me rebute. Pas assez rock'n'roll, on va dire...

Mais avec les dessins de références, aussi, je savais où ça allait me mener...

Tawnie's universe is really exclusive and original! A melting-pot of happy groovy alternative style, with a child, vintage and nice 'n' crazy atmosphere. About the art itself, I must say I failed. After coloring her hair, I thought it was a good idea to add this red and that green, to give it a juicy and fruity effect. But the final result looks twee and corny for me, and I'm relunctant of this. Let's say, not enough rock'n'roll...
